Alphas in Your Hands: Delivery Date Update - OCTOBER
We have now sorted through all of the production issues with respect to moving from China to the USA and are able to forecast that we can deliver your shovels by October 15. And, we are making every effort to deliver sooner than that. We apologize if this inconveniences anyone.
We got a lot of great feedback from you, our backers, about USA production and we're super stoked about it too. Basically, our production process in the USA is semi-automated and is capable of doing a lot of customization in color ways as well as shapes. Expect DMOS to to launch new shovel shapes/heads and new color ways in the future. If you have any shapes YOU want, please tell us!

Hello again, Alpha backers! Thanks so much for the overwhelming response to our new color line and US production announcement. Since that update, we've gotten tons of inquiries about whether we're offering the new colors for the Alpha Shovel. Based on all of the interest, we've decided that we will offer you all our new color line!
The options for Alpha colors now include Black, Moonstone, Fire Red, Native and Camo. Please see the attached images!
Please email [email protected] with any updated Alpha preferences. If you wish to add an additional Stealth or Alpha to your order, please do so through your Backerkit survey, for payment purposes, but send us your color choice. We'll take it from there!

Hey Alpha backers!
First off, we want to thank you, once again, for your patience as we dial in your Alpha Shovels, so that we can get you the best-quality product possible. With that said, we have some very exciting news for you: DMOS is officially moving production to Portland, Oregon! Our original plan was to produce in China, but, in an effort to improve quality and drastically reduce lead times, we've taken the leap of bringing manufacturing to the US.
While we originally offered you Stealth shovels in our 2016-17 color ways, we have almost sold out of that inventory and have discontinued the "distressed" DMOS logo Stealths. Instead, we are pleased to offer you our 2017-18 product line made in the United States in all the new colors we're producing for our retail accounts: Orange Fade, Blue, Desert, Moonstone and Fire Red. Please refer to the images below.
To make this switch easy for you, we've assigned default alternatives: If you ordered Orange, we'll ship you Orange Fade, Lime will go to Blue and Grizz Brown to Desert; if this sounds good to you, no need to respond. Otherwise, please email us at [email protected] to let us know your preference!

Hi Alpha Backers!
We just want to thank you for your support of DMOS through this campaign and to let you know that the Alpha Shovels are coming...and we can hardly wait! We'll be sending out an official notification once we have them in hand and ready to ship to you, but this is just to keep you in the loop.
While there's no snow on the ground, we've been using our Alpha in the yard, garden, and bringing it on our adventures, so we're sure you'll be able to put your shovel to work right away this summer, too!
We'll be in touch again soon with updates on Alpha, but in the meantime we hope you're enjoying the spring!
